Our Political Research and Outreach Committee has put together an incredible event with 20 candidates in races across the city. We need a strong turn out to show the politicians we are organized and that the arts are important to New York City. Paul Nagle of the Cultural Strategies Initiative will moderate. Questions put to the panels will be based on LIT's Performing Arts Platform.

Your attendance and involvement is essential. The League will make endorsements of candidates based on what happens at this Forum and will announce them on April 2.

We want to know the questions you want to ask the candidates. Email them by March 10 to politics@litny.org. You can also sign up to assist us on the night of the event at that email.

Please make noise about this on Facebook and Twitter. As a 501(c)6 we are able to make endorsements. This makes us unique in New York City and will position us to change the dialogue about so many things affecting us. Make sure your artistic allies know about this and ask them to attend.
